The above post was in response to these directions. Everything was easy. The hardest part was figuring out what the picture icon was on this page. Good luck to all. Thanks to Ice Shanty and Mugz for finally explaining this to me.

Instructions for Uploading Pictures from a Host Server

1.) Log onto and register on
www.sharemation.com.
2.) On the sharemation toolbar select “Upload”
3.) This will open a screen that has a button that says “Browse” Select browse and find the picture (in .jpg format) you want to upload. If you want to upload more than one, select the pulldown that allows you to select the number.
4.) Click “OK”…..it may take a few minutes to upload.
5.) When it is done uploading the screen should change back to your “Directory”, this is where you pictures will be stored.
6.) At the top of the directory screen you see where it says “Info”, “Lock”, “Share”, “Delete”.
7.) On the picture you want to post so everyone can see it, select the picture of the hand under “Share”. (If you don’t do this step, you’ll get a red “x”)
8.) This brings you to another screen , Here select “Change”. This brings you to another screen. Across from where it says “Public” under the “Read” column, change it to read “Yes”. This allows your picture to be viewed by the public. All the rest leave the same.
9.) Click “Apply Now”. Now, go back to your directory by clicking on your user name on the left hand side column.
10.) Now, the hand across from your file should be different recognizing that your picture can be “shared”.
11.) Click on the filename of your picture in the directory. It should open your picture in another browser window.
12.) The address (
http://www.pic_server.com/myfolder/my_pic.jpg) in the address window is the address you want to copy and paste into Iceshanty.
13.) Open another browser window (you can have several open at once). Go to iceshanty.com and in a response/reply thread there is a Box on the menu that looks like a picture frame (if you run your mouse over it, it says “image”). In the reply window where you would write text there should be two sets of parenthesis like this <IMG></IMG>. Put your cursor in the middle of these parenthesis and copy and paste your picture address there

http://www.yourpicture.com</IMG>) You can write text to go along with your picture as well.
14.) Now hit send, and your picture should be posted on IceShanty.com.
