The Hub is located on the northeast corner of the junction of US40/US189 on the south end of Heber. It is also the last traffic light going south on US40. There is also a gas station right next to The Hub (south side) on that corner.

Hey just a suggestion can we monitor channel 7 to coordinate getting people out to the fishing spot. For the ones who come late you can see us from the parking lot. If you take a left at loop F then you can go almost to the phillips boat storage and we will be to the right About 700 yards. I have 2 4-wheelers and 2 big tubs to transport the fishing gear out. I just need help putting the tubs back on the trailer. Ill keep you up dated on ice conditions. Thanks Glen

Thank you that will help me. I went today with another fellow Iceshanty member and my two boys. We caught 6 or 7 a piece and was able to take 3 rainbows home again. In fact ice conditions are excellent had a 1/2 an inch of fresh snow on it this morning. The place I would recommend everybody going to park, because the parking lot is always a zoo, is to hang a left at loop F ( this is the road that goes to phillips dry storage) and park on the right side of the road. closest to the day use area. From there you can see out into badger bay. In fact I plan on going up early and I will be out there fishing you can holler at me on channel 7 if you want me to come tow you out. This is also an easy spot for those who would want to walk out 500 yards or so. I checked it out and it's easy riding for snow mobiles and 4-wheelers. If you don't have a radio you could probably honk and I would hear ya. Ok I'll leave the fish alone until the 21st. I'm going to play on the BIG pond. Lake Powell.

I had an great time fishing with Happyheber and crew today on the Berry! Good fishing and great company, can't wait till the next time! Looking forward to the GT on 21st!

Also, parking in the main lot with a snowmobile/OHV double trailer or enclosed trailer and then using the snowmobile/OHV to get back over to the F loop road shouldn't be a major problem either. I'm not sure if there will be enough room on the F loop road to get a double trailer turned around to come back out. I sure wouldn't want to try to back one out to the main road. Can you give us some intel on that Glen?

I was up there today and Glen is correct, plenty of room to turn around in the dry storage lot.

I took my kids up and the wind was howling, didn't get to chase the fish much since we were huddled in the tent and didn't mark many fish on finders either...much slower than earlier in the week for me. Hoping it picks back up again before Saturday.

I was up there Saturday and today and parking lot was practically empty both days. parking shouldn't be an issue. I may or may not make it up. Got invited to head down to fish lake Saturday. I have been having pretty miserable luck the past few weeks at the berry so we shall see.

It was 12 or 13 inches. Only thing that made me nervous was the pressure ridges and cracks in spots (mostly at mouths of bays). Lots of popping etc but still holding fine

Fished the berry saturday night. Ice was solid 14" no problem getting a machine on the ice. Very little snow melting fast. Temp was 50 degrees at 4 pm. Temp was 26 degrees when we left at 11 pm. Pressure cracks have been opening and refreezing, be careful crossing them, be smart go round the big shinny spots from water on top of the ice. I saw happyhebers snow couch, it should be visible still this weekend. Fishing was good caught a good number of cutt's ,no rainbows. Marked lots of fish on the finder. Now the bad news! I was informed today i have to work this weekend, damn!! Wish i could have met a few of you this weekend. Good luck, should be a fun outing.

I don't think this storms going to do much anyways. Me, icecutterion and maybe a couple others will be at the hub at 6 for some good eats and then to the berry. For those wanting to just meet up at the lake lets plan on 730-8 as previously discussed. If I can get a head count for breakfast I will give them a call and let them know how many of us will be there
