ok i think that we might have to have 3 categories.  1. most creative  2. most ingenuitive 3. most practical
1. most creative as in imaginative design like the shreck shack
2. most ingenuitive as in the hasmat suit
3. most practical as in having stuff like foldup cots and tables and all kinds of creative storage ideas
-perchpunk-

ps. i don't know if we should have a prize or just bragging rights but i think we should vote sometime
Any Ideas?

The  Shrek shack is on 2x10 ski runners an I wouldn't pull at 45 mph ,but my sportsman 500 will pull it as fast as the 3 guys riddin inside will tolerate, before screamin to slow down... it is 8x8, so it's no small tow.
How are the edges ?

It's just a standard fishtrap and it's not mine.  It belongs to a good friend of mine.
He tricked it out with nothin' more than a black permanent marker.

Well, it's no contest winner but here's the brainchild of my icefishing friend and I. She was meant to see service on Sodus this year but the ice didn't cooperate. It's 5'x8'x6'. Made of 2x2's and 1/4" ply with a steel roof. We designed it to be taken apart for transport if necessary...no floor...but we have drop-in end slats to block the wind. No..I didn't pick the color!!!! ;D..WK

wow... someone is a really good artist. that's awsome.  hey wk do you have anymore pics? that looks pretty sweet with the three windows and not having a floor helps to keep low to the ground and to save weight smart idea

Keep the pics coming-I need to find a theme for the outside of the shack I built this year.  didn't have time to paint it before I sent it out to the ice.

Thanks for the compliments guys. Sorry but I don't have any other pics. of the shanty, inside or out :'(. That was a pic. my friend took and emailed to me so I could send it off for my son at college to see. It's really nothing special, and we don't have anything inside as of yet. We will probably add some shelves and hangers and pretty much just keep it simple. When I saw the color my friend had picked for it, I thought man that's LOUD!!! But Mac is right, it will stand out well especially in some of those blowing Lake Ontario whiteouts that happen on Sodus Bay. But that's alright...cuz we'll be nice and comfortable inside it yankin' up them Perch....WK ;D
