Looking for Pike spot for the kids

Sandy pond,up towards watertown off from Lake Onterio, is usually good for steady pike action.  There was a bar we parked at that charged $5, I think, to park at and made for a short walk.  if i can remember the name of the place i will let you know.

i think your about 2 hours from rochester if im not mistaken but braddocks bay has never let me down for pike there are big pike in there but you get alot of 18 to 25in ive been out there 5 times this year and yet to catch less then 3 a trip with the biggest being a nice 14lber if you want tips and directions just pm me

The barge canal is producing pike and pickerel in New London @ Rt 46 and 49. Buckeyes under tip-ups. I got a 39 incher there last year and I was told they were biting last weekend. It's close and easy access.
