Big pickerel

It barely came through a 6" hole...We played around with the video cameras and got some pretty cool stuff... Check out the underwater video

i've pulled em' bigger than that through a 4'' hole. they'll fit through anything with some force

I don't keep many fish, when I do it's usually crappie, bluegill and walleye...

I am so confused...

Why do you call pickerel what we call pike here in Manitoba? Walleye and saugers are called pickerel here.

Why do you call pickerel what we call pike here in Manitoba? Walleye and saugers are called pickerel here.

Pickerel and pike are 2 different species... Same family though, they looks similar in profile when small. Chain pickerel AKA Esox Niger don't ge nearly as big as a pike. CT state record pickerel is a bit over 8 pounds

I liked the video you have thats icefishing without ice where you put the four pieces of foam on the tipup cross sections.

black ice is the best ice! good to see you throw it back instead of leaving it for dead.it's got to be the most under apreciated sports fish there is. watched one guy stomp on every one he cought and just though em in any wich direction.
