Wanted to start a thread which would allow you to document your catches this year on scugog. And have a friendly tournement to see who can catch the biggest walleye throughout this years hard water season.

Went out tonight with Brutas77 from 15:30 till 18:10 hrs. Got this little girl at 17:20 hrs on a tip up in the hut. She nibbled at his buckshot, then mine, then hit the shinner on the tip up. Sorry for bad picture she was over the keep line so I wanted to get her down the hole ASAP. I think 21" is where she landed. Tight lines! FT

Btw... The ice is still cracking when you walk in spots.

anyone know about this fence that is covering the culvert at stephenson point road. pretty sure the home owners cant put that fence up there. should be able to walk out right beside that culvert with no problems.Anyone know where im talking. pretty sure it was there last year aswell

Still much quieter than normal. No jumbos again! Only one rock bass- (he was a savage). I am still blaming the cold front. I tried a different tactic tonight (probably works for many species.) I tried to call them in with a loud Rapala rattle in center of hut, hopeing they would hit me or a closely placed minnow. So far, so good. But it was still slow. The fishing chart says this weekend is going to be hot- peaking on Saturday. Becareful lads. Snow is insulating the ice IMHO. FT

Went out off of pine point on the east side of the island. Got two perch one jumbo one Dink. Missed two flags too no eyes. Want to head out Friday. Maybe ill try a few more spots till my honey holes makes more ice. Four inches still where I was. Good luck boys.

Nice walleye!

We use that trick for Pike as well, jig a noisy bait in the middle of the set, lots of times the pike ignore the dead baits and live bait and smack the jigged bait.

Nice pickeral you got there Fish Tracker. That means your up one and the rest is falling behind. Went out yesterday got about 10 or so perch and 2 crappie but no eyes.

Out today east of washburn. One medium perch and one small crappy tonight, otherwise dead quiet. Ice is not getting thicker in my area. Once I popped a half dozen holes the ice began to sink and flooded whole area out with 3+ inches of water. Man it's quiet out there ?! Where are the fish !

No luck for us today...and the ice, like FishTracker said, was pretty thin in spots. Hopefully the snow melts off a bit during the next few days and night-time temps stay low to thicken it up. With that said, I've got the itch...will be back out soon.

Was out for ten hours starting yesterday morning at west beach Marina. Ice still at five inches but the ice turned really slushy. Caught nothing but a few Dink perch until my jigging rod started screaming. Hooked into a muskie. Got my tip up out the hole and got to fight him for ten mins or so. Got his head up the hole went to grab the back of his head and slipped out of my hands. Hooked popped out and off he went. Good fight nice size. No one at all from the area are catching eyes. Gonna try Stephenson point this weekend. The clam Bigfoot is working awesome for me this year so far. Can't wait for a good feed of eyes.

Was out from Stephensons Point on saturday. Ice was SKETCHY! about 2-3" of crusty/slushy/white ice and then 1.5-3" of black ice. The hardest part was getting out to the good ice. Ice along the shore was bad from all the sleds rippin up and down. Spud your way out. Spud would go through on first hit in most places.

Caught nothing but small perch. fished in 7-9fow along/in the weeds.

Sorry for the late report...computer on the fritz again

Went out last saturday 2 pm till 7 pm front of Goretski's beach. Fished in 8-13 foot of water and found some beautifal weeds. All we were missing was FISH.

2 guys...5 hours...no fish. Hopefully this mild spell and wind doesnt't chew it up too much. We had anywhere from 3.5 to 6 inches of ice.
