Looks all fancy schmancy.  Which dorm?
I'm a-going to stay where ya sleep all day,
Where they hung the jerk who invented work
In the big rock candy mountains.

Its in our kitchen downstaris at saratoga hall. And yes, we do have a refrigorator in there for safe keeping, but we stuff the freezer in our room before taking the catch down there.

Kitchen in 'toga?  Must be nice!  I was upstairs through the center door, 2nd room on the right.  12 years ago... Gawd, I feel old now.

Sweeet fish!! I plan on making a trip up there in Feb. hows the fishing been on meacham? I've snowshoed into a few ponds up around there and had some great times. A group of friends and I are going to meacham for the first time this year. Any hints would be appreciated. Thanks

Hey Chucker, good to hear from an "almost alum" ;). Turns out we would have been neighbors, im upstairs first door on the right from the center entrance. Im 201, you would have been....202. Hmm small world.

I didnt forget toothy critter, afterall your requesting vital info. I shouldnt give up too much, but being your first trip, i can tell you a couple of places to start. After entering the park youll go strait through the main gate and just past that there is a large parking area with a couple of out houses next to it, you wont be able to tell but there is a beach just behind that lot. Park in that lot and walk down to the beach. That is a big sand flat. We have had luck with salmon setting up tipups rigged with an 8-12 foot flourocarbon leadear and leaving the bait 1-4 feet under the ice, browns too. And there are also pike that patroll the scattered weed beds throughout that same flat. As you approach the beach, you may notice a small brook to your left with the banks lined with some thick shrubs. The combination of the flowing water from the brook, the large sand flat, and the small scattered weed beds seem to draw just about all that meacham has to offer. Good Luck!

We havnt drilled any holes in rainbow lake this year yet and actually havnt even fished it in open water. It does sound like one that we need to check out though.
