Cheshire Lake

I fished Cheshire Lake (2nd Lake) yesterday.

The weather was overcast, temps in the mid 40's, and it fogged up later in the afternoon.

There was 4 inches of black ice under 1.5 inches of slush. The ice was very soft near the boat launch, so if you go, enter about 100 feet to the left of the boat launch.

I only had 6 flags/strikes on deadstick during 4 or 4.5 hours on the Lake, and only caught one football sized bass.

Three guys closer to the boat launch did a bit better - - one bass, some perch and crappie.

Lunch was turkey bean stirfry (gotta use up the last of that Christmas turkey), shrimp newburg on toast, homemade strawberry/cranberry blend wine, and a couple of clementines.
