Nice Pike caught on Irondequoit Bay few years back

Caught this nice Northern 4 years ago on a tip-up which had a treble hook with a bass minnow on it. It was our first year ice fishing, so it pretty much has given us false hope since that day  ::)  haha

nice pike there fish slayer and welcome to ice shanty. Perhaps some of the info obtained here will increase your odds of landing one even bigger.

That's a great pic!  Never had much luck with them thru the ice there... only in open water...

Yeah same here... have had a few thru the ice but have had better luck on a boat

It's strange...  they seem to be everywhere during the summer, but all but disappear once the ice comes...
