Ive been using a 1 gallon thermos also for the last year or so also but I have one of the low profile short fat thermos.   I run the aerator hose right down through the drinking spout.

I have the clam version and a lose a lot of minnows and not impressed on how long they last in it , fatheads last longer than emeralds . Curious how the stoke master would work being air tight?

I wouldn't want a thermos like that its not air tight with drinking spout. put that in the shack pulled behind a 4wheeler and the water would be gone/drained out.

I had mine tip over in the car once while on the way out and no water leaked out. Its also nice if you want to run a battery aerator. Flip the spout up and stuff the hose in.

I have been using the Frabill insulated minnow bucket with no problems for a couple years now. Keeps the water from freezing and has a built in slot to clip on the battery operated aerator. No complaints at all. The Bait Bucket pictured about looks a lot like the Frabill cool worm can I have already but only need it in the summer. I guess when I go out I fill up a couple bait pucks with waxies and that's all I've ever needed.

Hey Agro, if there's one thing Baitbucket knows, it's bait buckets.

I've been using the Plano 722 insulated bait bucket with great results  ...place that in a 5 gallon bucket for spillage ...with the 5 gallon bucket I  have a place to store my ice scoop for tip up re baiting  ...also use the combo bait/5 gal buckets  for dead sticking with a clip on rod holder to 5 gallon bucket ..wind dosent knock over the bucket with the bait stored inside .

Ditto...I have the Frabill 110v for home use ...I normally just change the water each day with similar  temp water as the bait bucket

No doubt! I dropped $50 on a Frabill unit with and aerator. Wish I would have thought about that a long time ago!
