I went down to Silver last night and the edges looked "questionable" at best. I could not get on to test thickness of ice. I'm not saying that the ice isn't thick enough but access may be a problem.

Thanks for the update Tom. It was nice to meet
you at the shop on Friday night. The bait was
great and you are very generous. I caught
largemouth and pickerel at Westside pond on
Saturday and much the same on Sunday at
Tyler pond. Good ice up in Goshen.Good luck
everyone.

Just finalized the plans for Fisherman’s Paradise and Tag’s Tackle Box customer appreciation day on Silver Lake in Berlin from 7am to 1pm this Sunday February 4th. We will have burgers, dogs, soda, and water. It’s BYOB if you choose to. We are going to do a few raffles. One is for an ION 8” electric auger for $10 each and are limited to 50 tickets. The other will be a 50/50 for $1 each. Prizes for the top 3 biggest fish by weight. There will be a top prize for the biggest fish caught by a kid 12 or younger. The first 50 kids will get a free gift just for showing up. Can’t wait to see you all there!

What a great day on the Ice. The Fisherman’s Paradise / Tags Tackle Box first customer appreciation day was amazing. There were close to 200 people out on the ice. Hundreds of fish were weighed in. Lots in the 2-3lb range. I’m gonna post some pictures. Feel free to post any of you took some today. Largest fish was a largemouth bass 4.67 lbs. congratulations to all the winners. Hopefully we can do this annually. Thank you to everyone that showed up and a very big thank you to everyone that helped out.
