So the UPS lady delivered my new Nils auger today.....and tomorrow it is going to be 60 DEGREES !!!! Hmmmmmm....maybe if I order my new trolling motor it will get down to single digits.

Freezing rain here and high of 41 F but the 20 inches of good ice is fine. Now Thursday calling for a low of minus -20 F again. Warm cold, warm cold, no wonder the flu is going around bad here. As far as the fishing I don't think it is to bad, it seems the fish are still holding in the early ice pattern so far.

In my 20's I used to ski in shorts in weather like that.
Then again, I was not your "average" skier.

Freezing rain for 12 hours, now 8"+ of snow expected. I need the temps to keep dropping, so I can get out tomorrow and slay some whitefish.
Should be good weather for the I-500 race though.

Fished once in a tshirt standing on 6" of crystal clear ice, watching the fish come up from about 10 feet and pounded perch that day but 2 days later it was gone.
