Placid Lake
« on: Feb 14, 2009, 03:06 PM »
I'm taking a few women from school to Placid tomorrow and would like for them to catch some fish, as none have ever ice fished before. I haven't been up there all winter. Anyone have any reports or tips? Thanks!

Go to salmon or seeley instead. North end of Seeley has been hit hard but still producing fish. My son pulled a 5 pound pike out on sunday. Lots of 2 pounders and an occasional large bull trout. Lots of pike being caught on Salmon. Not sure where but hear lots of good reports. Noone seems to be catching anything on placid but the occasional perch.
