wolfe Lake, westport Ontario

we are planning a trip up there between christmas and new years. just wondering how much ice there is on the lake right now. thanks in advance.

I have not been to Wolfe yet, but I was on Dog lake about 40 minutes south not even two weeks ago and it was ice free. The temps have not been that low since then so I would be surprised it there was Safe ice

ok thanks, I have been watching the temps for perth and they have been pretty low so i thought there would be some ice.

The next 4 days should make it stiffen up good.  I can't see it not being ready in time for your arrival, but there are plenty of small lakes in the area that'll be frozen if you can't get on Wolfe.
