Looking to fish the reservoir this weekend for pike and perch. Does anyone have an update on the ice conditions up there??

There's a thread started a couple days ago talking about the conditions. Its hard to imagine that it's unsafe now. Have you had luck in the past there? I have never fished the reservoir through the ice, Im curious to know what it's like

I checked off the access on saturday and it was 7 inches. only went out to middle, not toward bend and back end those places froze later and may actually have more based on less snow. the access had 3-5 inches snow when I was there. I was going to fish it this weekend but with the reports of champ setting up in pike places I will be heading there
