Sorry to hear about your loss. It's not so much losing the boat as losing faith in people. I hope you get it back.

Nothing worse than a thief.  People that are actually convicted of this type of theft should not be able to purchase a hunting or fishing license again.

Lot of low-lifes out there.  Had my canoe and paddle stolen off an island I was hunting up north four years ago.  Stranded on an island in single digit temps.  Found out who stole it the next summer.  Low lifes.....  (on Chesuncook Lake)  They have a real fine reputation of being what they are.   Know how you feel, hope you find the boat in use in the near future.

I had my prosthetic leg stolen while I was in a deer blind, I had to hop and drag myself two miles back to my truck.  I went back the next day on my quad and found that squirrels had stolen it and began storing nuts in it for the upcoming winter.  I had to cancel the police report and call off the hitman that I had hired. ;D

MDB,, If you look on the bottom of the marsh I bet you will find it. My grandfather and I had a canoe stolen from us many years ago from Eagle Lake in BarHarbor, we had it chained to a tree because my granfrther couldn't lift it on and off his car by himself. Any way, we found it that winter when an icefisherman got caught around the seat with his bait trap. Some one had scuttled it about 25 feet from shore. I know how you feel because if I could find the son of a *itch that stole it I would hope that he was dying. DONT PUT YOURSELF IN A POSITION TO GET INTO TROUBLE.....IT IS NOT WORTH LOOSING YOUR FREEDOM FOR A LOOSER. LET THE LAW DO IT'S THING

Thank you to all my fellow Veterans

The authorities could never do idiots like this justice. They need to be chained to the boat and set adrift for for a week or so, then shot! Hope like he!! you find these guys and give them the justice they deserve!

when I was out there yesterday it was low tide and I could see the bottom of the channel, and I walk quite a bit of it and didn't see it, If these people were scuttling crap then why not throw our blind chairs into the water and our camo netting?  It just would take someone knowing it was there because the blind is a 15 minute walk from the nearest road!

We had a boat chained up on a backwoods trout pond in the western mt. area and went in one day to find a key broken off in our lock still attached to the boat.  The boat is now gone to another pond but its still a pain to lug a conoe back and fourth to do a little trout fishing.  People need to respect other peoples stuff.  My .02
P.S. Hope u cathch them and give them a few choice words

I remember seeing it the last day of reg duck season, the tide was very high and I hunted there from about 11:30 til legal closing. The water was well up over the marsh but that jon boat was there after the tide fell so it didn't float away then.I didn't see any other people on that end of the marsh.
Hope it turns up.

I know how it feels man. I lost several traps this year and probably 10 animals to thieves. It sours the whole experience and ruins your day, there is just no darn need of it.  If you want something get a job. LAYZE people are thieves!

Hope you find your boat man.
Anthony
