Otter Team wild Lodge very tight skin/covering

I bought this portable shanty yesterday, its assembled but man are the support poles hard to get in place. Does the skin on these things hold super tight?? I had to use all my force to get the last support pole in place on the top?? Anyone else have issues like this?? The shelter was assembled at the local tackle shop, the guy does alot of them and assume it was done right.

Initially on my Cottage I had to squat underneath and stand up to get the pins to set in the poles. It will stretch with use. I still have to use this method during subzero temperatures, years later.

I guess to be more specifc its the spreader poles that are very hard to get in place..really have to fight with it. Is this common at first?

i noticed it with my cottage also but when i set it up i just left it for a couple days to strach out and then it was better but after use u dont really notice it at all

Well I set it up in garage and it must have streched some on my outing yesterday cause it fits perfect now. No more forcing anything...very happy

Yeah mine was tight when I got mine a couple years ago..normal and will loosen up
