Any ice fishing lakes around Prince Albert

I am moving to PA for a month and just wondering if there are any lakes that I can do ice fishing? How is the general ice condition on the lake?

lots of lakes in every direction  some in 30 min some further
ice is going to be hit and miss this year

I just checked the map, the closest lake is the Christopher lake just north of PA. Any ice fishing experience over there? I went to blackstrap last weekend and the ice over there is already around 8''. How is the general ice condition at christopher lake?

You can check out the Anglers Map of Saskatchewan. It list species and recent stocking info. It's basically google maps but with all the fishing info. You have tons of lakes 45 minutes to the west of PA.

Heard 7" ice at christopher.  Fishing has been good there and emma as well the last few winters.

How is the road condition to christopher lake? Is an SUV with winter tires on able to drive to Christopher lake?
