took a ride up there today at noon. 2dz or so fishermen out on the ice... one team coming in...said perch, pike bite was ok..
no water when they went out...at 7am...but at noon they had to jump across some soft ice that had broken through along the shore..
You might want to bring a pair of rubber boots....
further out they said the ice was fine....6-8 inches...
