So a dumb question that has probably been answered a few times but...I want to build one for my otter sled how are you attaching it to the smitty? Is it held in place just by the bungees and weight?
http://www.geteskimo.com/Foundations/Store/shopdetail.asp?params=15575Eskimo now has a Smitty Sled!
Used my new sled today. AWESOME ! That thing worked just like everyone said it would. Totally happy with it.

Wow went fishing with my boy last night, Got there and set up no problem. Now coming off the ice it snowed and there was probably only 4 inchs new. My sled pulled like heck. Don't know if is because skis need waxed or what. Maybe I need to shed some stuff. (NEVER)
my sled was only 5 bucks for the walker free skies most the other stuff laying around

Just wondering how it pulls threw the deep snow with the tip of the ski's toed in like that? I know from sking that when you toe in the tip's it slows you down.
