Crappie ?

Fished in the evening 6-9 at Red Rock.  First time out there.  Found an area where some holes were drilled that somebody sat at for awhile.  Located the brush along with lots of fish.  Only to catch 5-7 inch crappies.  Drilled more holes around the area trying to locate the bigger boys.  Still only caught the little ones.  I'm thinking that there's got to be bigger fish around the area.  Were these fish off the feed?  Do they leave the area to feed?  Should I try the same spot at a different time.  What do you recommend?

Where were you fishing? Ifish Red Rock in the spring and get alot of huge crappies. Some of them 14" and better. They do move alot and they are definately flighty. The marina is supposed to be a good spot along with the teeter creek area. Good Luck!!!!!!!!     cwulf
