Hooks for salmon eggs

Just wondered what hooks (and size) are preferred when using salmon eggs for rainbows in the shallows.  Small circle hooks? Egg hooks?

Color - gold?  blood red?

Same for power bait?

#6 circle hook works best for me

red #14 gammie egg hook for me, the king in the leader pack works nicely.
