I bailed on fishing during the big part of storm, you boys who went out are more man than me...
But i fished all day on Sunday. And as usual during the derby, fish were not available to me.
I walked onto the ice at 6 AM... as I was sending my bait down the hole a nice Pickerel grabbed it and I landed her!
I should have packed up and left.
Around lunch time a bunch of tractors and plow trucks showed up and plowed a race track next to our fishing holes.
I managed a few perch during the races, but the noise drove us away and we headed to the derby headquarters to see what real anglers pulled in... I need to find a good derby spot...
