Tips and Tricks/Freezing Eyelets, and bailers

So guys, last few days, my eyelets and my bailers on my reels and rods keep freezing up, anyone got any tips for this

carry the olive oils spray can with you to. my experience with it river fishing was i had to keep adding to the rods eyes and bailer. not 100 per cent but better than none at all.

I wonder if a cooking spray like Pam would be good.  It would keep everything lubed up and might even act as an attractant.  Who can resist the taste of butter?

i was thinking of that myself but i had already bought a spray can of olive oil for river fishing for my spinning rods.
