White Tubes and Chrome Buzzbombs.  Have just started using Deadly Dick's jigs, they work pretty well too.

Anything White, but a white airplane jig is what I use the most.

The makers of the swedish pimple made this lure called, "The Laker Taker" I wasn't having luck at one of our laker holes last year so I put that thing on for a laugh (it was like 4" long for open water) I swear that thing didn't even hit the bottom of the lake and POW!!.  I had a laker on and I was so dumbfounded it snapped me off.  I was like a deer in the headlights.  Needless to say I have had a heck of a time trying to find another one.  They have this thing similar to the laker taker but it has a big bend in it and I don't think it is anywhere near the same.

Tsunami Ball jigs work awesome. Tip that with a filet of sucker and you are in business.

Another thing, dry dog food to chum up the area. Lakers and cusk love it. Then bounce your jig into the chum pile to stir it all up.

Used to be a big pimple.  This year I have been slaying them with a buckshot rattle spoon.  Both tipped with a shiner.

for me it differs from year to year, it use to be strictly spoons, then buck tails white or perch colored, now its strictly 3.5" to 4" white tubes with a 1oz orange jig head. sometimes with bait but mostly without

I just jig them like any other spoon.
I start off at the bottom, jig it a few times and hold for a minute, move up 5 feet or so and repeat.
When you get near the surface, drop to the bottom and repeat. Haven't had to use bait so far.

Drifter, Do you find a slow jigging action or a hard fast action better with your spoons?

It really depends on the mood of the fish.
Mostly I just give a couple of wrist flips and hold. I will then occasionally give a 2 foot sweep jig and rest to try and call in fish. Another trick is when you are down at the bottom to thump it off bottom a couple of times to stir things up.
