IceShanty Ontario Ice Angler Of The Year
Let me know what you guys think? Will have a separate thread for entries and a leaderboard as well as a discussion board here. I am up to the task. Please feel free to offer any suggestions here soon.
Rules:
Dates : Will start this off on January 1st 2009 and will end on March 31st. All entries must be submitted by March 31st 12:00 P.M.
Fish species included:
-Pike
-Walleye
- Perch
-Crappie
-Bluegill
-Rainbow trout
-Brook Trout
-Lake Trout
-Splake
-Whitefish
You can have two have two entry's per fish species. You will be able to upgrade
A clear photo of the fish laying flat beside a measuring device is required as well as your IceShanty O9’ tourney card to make it valid, this will also give you a bit more incentive to submit entry’s into the online tournament. You will be able to post your picture along with the length of the fish. A photo with you and the fish is also nice but will not be required.
Point System:
The scoring will be based on a point system.
The Every inch = 3 points
There will also be additional 10 points for any fish caught within the ‘BIG’ fish size requirements or over.
Combined point total of all fish species will take bragging rights and will be crowned Ice Angler of the Year for 2009.
Big Fish:
-Pike> 41 in
-Walleye> 28 in
-Perch >14 in
-Crappie> 14 in
-Bluegill>10 in
-Rainbow Trout > 22 in
-Brook Trout > 20 in
-Lake Trout> 30 in
-Splake> 20 in
-Whitefish> 21 in
