Zercom Colorpoint Flasher - Question
« on: Nov 13, 2007, 02:36 PM »
Hey guys. I recently bought a Zercom Colorpoint flasher for ice fishing. I got a great deal on it and it's in pretty much brand new condition. The only problem I see is that it doesn't have the "IR" button like the Vex's and I'm a bit worried about feedback or interferance when I'm fishing near other flashers.

Does anyone use this unit? Have you had interferance issues when around other flashers? I tried it out in open water and it works great, but I'm worried about when I'm fishing the hard water with friends...

Doh! I guess I won't be letting any of my buddies with flashers fish near me.... ;D

Just keep your distance from others... I have a Zercom LF-40 and as long as its so distance your good. This goes for my old Garmin 160 too. I have 2 Marcum LX-3's and they work great.
Keep 1 pole in the hole.... <;*)}}}}}}}}}}}><

I've had one for a few (or more?) years and it has been great. I can't say that I've used it real close - as in the same shack - to other flashers, but it has been fine. I haven't noticed any interference.
