Summit ice?

Sure its probably still early, but any word on ice forming at summit? Really gonna hit the hard water hard there this year, and am getting anxious. If it wasnt close to an hour drive, id go check fer myself.

I don't know about Summit, but even if there is fishable ice this weekend or next, you probably can't get on it because of a special geese hunt.

Thanks for the heads up. Although it does look like its just on the weekends, so i could fish through the week, but again, im sure its still early. Just gettin antsy.

Unless you want a wet butt,ya better give Summit a few days,I was there 2 days ago and it was OPEN,BE CAREFUL AND DONT GO ALONE,remember a rope and float cushion if theres any doubt in youre mind,throw youre hand spikes around youre neck also,

Trust me, i live on the safe side, especially when it comes to ice. Have always had a very healthy respect for it.
Whats the time difference up there for safe ice in the bays, and safe ice out in the deeper water? Have alway wanted to venture out for the percha nd walleyes there, but just never had.
