who fishes south mud or nyona through the ice?

I fished a tournament on Nyona a few years ago. Seemed like everyone fished the shallow on the north end. Fishing was pretty slow, we caught a few decent ones, but left before the end to go get on some better fish somewhere else. We fished Mud once too looking for those illegally stocked walleye that are supposed to be in there and we took a skunkin'.

I fish both lakes year round. Talked to Mike at Malone's bait and tackle yesterday, and he said there was a skim layer one night but opened back up the next day. With the forecast I would not be surprised to see people fishing on a couple inches next weekend.

No Marcum, I live near Royal Center but fish Nyona 2 to 3 times a week
