I am sure you all know this, but the conditions are not great yet and the recent snow did not help any. Scouted yesterday from sandbar to isle lamotte and most places still had water or very little ice. The snow only made slush on top of 2-4 inches of ice. Strongly recommend checking ice as one goes because it can go from 4 to less than 2 inches In a matter of feet.
Yes there are some places that are fishable, but be careful. This cold spell coming should help a bit. Just hope the wind stays calm!
