My best Pike so far!

My best pumpkinseed this year... only about 8.5 inches
I have only caught 2 pike. The first was in PA and only 22.75 inches... This is my best. I got it at Conesus lake 3/4/04.  It is 32.5 inches and 10 pounds

Nice pike! Pike action right now is starting to heat up. There is no fishing season in Mass. Pretty much Jan - Dec on all species with VERY few exceptions.

What did you catch that Pike on? It's a hog

my return is pretty good.  I was using 30# dacron with a 4' leader of 15# mono and a size 14 treble with a 5 inch minnow.  I was hoping to get a pike, and I got it at the last possible chance pretty much.  The ice became non fishable a day or two after I got it at Conesus.  They get em up to 20 lbs there, that was only 10, so it is just average, just my biggest

nice pike if i knew how to post pic's i would post a lil pike that i caught while fishing with river scum. I was fishing for bait with a 30" ultra light rigged with 3/4 lb line. And hooked a 34" 12lb'er talk about fun. 20 mins later got him up on the ice.

What's the girth on that?  It's a fatty!  Also, did you check and see if that would have qualified for any records on that line class?
