Just a quick update. Surgery went well, they were done by 4pm. They had a hard time waking her up, they couldn't get her oxygen level up. We didn't get out of the hospital until about 11pm. We got home and her levels dropped, luckily we had some oxygen here so she is on .5 liters to keep her levels normal. Waiting for the drug store to open to get some pain pills. Right now she is sleeping. THANKS for the well wishes.....h2l

Good evening, rain to start this day and I see more moving in overnight and going through out Thursday. Some sad news from this weekend and Monday night. This past Friday around 11 Pm a 38 year old female walking along route 211 in Town of Wallkill (Middletown.NY. area) stepped off curb into traffic and was struck and killed by a person driving a 2017 ford Escape. Driver of the Escape stopped called 911 and tried to administer first aid. When police and emergency services arrived on scene the female was pronounced dead. State Police investigation ongoing about this accident. Monday night also around 11 PM a 911 call to city of Newburgh police about gunshots fire d. when police arrived at location they found two victims one 25 years old the other 20 years old. The 25 year old was pronounced dead at scene . The 20 year old taken to local hospital in critical condition at time of new story release. City Police asking community for help.

Ice Wanderer i hope today's therapy session was a good one for you.  Guess you will be busy most weekends helping complete the jobs for Association members with your neighbor and his brother.
Hunts2long may your wife's oxygen levels have returned to normal range. best to her moving forward from her surgery.
Wallyworld may Mr.WW have the wheel bearings replaced and the job have gone problem free for him. I sent you a message with some lacrosse information to share with your son and grandson.
IFF I hope things are drying out for you and a few days of sunshine in your extended weather forecast.

May everyone stay healthy and safe. Best to all fishing.

59* and a few clouds.

WW, good luck today and THANKS!

The wife is in the hospital in Gloversville. I don't have much info has of yet. We had given NYP an update and were told if her breathing didn't improve PLUS if we got low on oxygen to go to the EM. After dinner last night we knew we didn't have enough to get thru the night so we went early thinking they would provide us with some. This is where it get "tweaky", to prepare for her surgery she had to stop her blood thinner and re-start the day after  which she did. The Dr. in the ER said she may have developed a blood clot so wanted to do CAT scan and x-ray. At midnight they were taking her in to do it but said they wouldn't be sending her home. I hadn't had very much sleep in the past 2+ days so came home. That is all I know as she didn't take her phone with her. Will update you later.

Have a good day and well...h2l

Good evening , rain on and off today if weather forecast is correct Friday through Sundy will be dry and sunny days. My aunt is now rebelling and not wearing the back brace claims it makes the pain worse. She has an MRI scheduled but it is not until early June. So I pray and hope for the best outcome for her.
Hunts2long prayer said for Mrs. H2l and your family. I hope the CAT scan showed no blood clots and oxygen levels can be brought into normal range.
Wallyworld Birthday wishes sent your way. Congratulations to the two of you on a good fishing trip today.
Ice wanderer with the limited information released by police can only speculate on the recent shootings in Newburgh. Possibly a "drive by" . May you see some dry weather so the Trout Lake deck can be pressure washed.
Eddie good to Hear Lady has fit in with your dogs makes watching/caring for her much easier for you.
Whopper Stopper may all be good with you. the "Girls" and your sister.

A good night wished for everyone.

Marv.........It's nice to see you stop by.
Steve........Why does it take so long to get an MRI? ??? That's crazy. :%$#!: I finished pressure washing Trout Lake deck yesterday. Now on to a deck
in Bolton Landing at the association.
As I said I finished the Trout Lak deck, now for some dry weather to stain it.

53* and some fog.

WW, nice fish and a GREAT walleye, congratulations.

None of the scans showed any blood clots but they are treating here for what they "think" is a touch of pneumonia in her old lung. She is feeling better and the sore throat she had from the tube they put in her is better. She is tried, they never let you sleep long in a hospital without coming in for "something". The nurse (Eva) that she had yesterday was "great" while talking the said it was our anniversary, when she came back she brought us "red velvet" cup cakes.

IW, don't over do on those decks.

Eddie, hope you had some luck fishing.

Have a good day and be safe....h2l

Happy birthday WW, looks like the fishing day was a good one.

Well I am glad it is Friday, but we have a TW showing up late today.  Kids have their play tonight. Tried to start getting the doors, windshield, and all last night, this one is a little more work getting it all put together.  Windshield wiper kit has been kicking my butt so far, but slowly figuring it out and moving forward with it all. Well better get to work and get a few more things done for the end of the week. Have a great Friday everyone, maybe some fishing this weekend we will see.

Good evening , nice day here with high temperature in the seventies. Some sad local news involving high school students earlier in the week four students from Franklin Delano Roosevelt high school in Hyde Park, NY. were in a car accident. Car left road and struck a utility pole one teen killed other three injured. Preliminary police reports say they believe vehicle speed played a role in the accident. it is believed the students were traveling from the high school to campus of Dutchess County BOCES where they spent part of each school day receiving instruction.
Ice Wanderer i also thought the wait time for my aunt to have the MRI is lengthy. glad you were able to pressure wash the trout lake deck yesterday may you see dry weather so it can be stained. Looks like you and your work partners have multiple jobs waiting for your attention.
Hunts2long happy to read the scans showed no signs of blood clots for Mrs. H2L . may the pneumonia have been caught early and respond to treatment. Very nice of Nurse Eva to get you red velvet cupcakes after learning it was your wedding anniversary date.
Wallyworld good to read you received my message may the information be of use to your son and grandson. I hope the two of you had a nice and safe ride today.
Fish/hunt4ever mat the (TW) have arrived at your work place early enough in the afternoon that it did not cause you to miss any of the play . Best to you in getting the various accessories installed on the side by side.
Eddie congratulations on catching enough trout for dinner. Thank you for you well wishes my aunt is used to being in charge so resists changes that affect her independence.  may you have some of this year's garden planted. I hope your grandson and his teammates played well and earned the victory at little League.
OldSailor may things be good with the family and you. If you have any of your garden planted may everything be looking good.

May everyone have a nice and safe Saturday. Best to all fishing this weekend.

56* and light rain.

WW, hope you enjoyed your Birthday, sorry I missed it.

Wife is doing very well, was told she "may" be coming home today. Her oxygen level has returned to normal. She can't wait to get home so she can get some sleep.

Mr. C, sorry here about the car accident.

Eddie, it is nice that the hospital is only a 20 minute drive and we both agree that there are better doctors down in the city. The doctor was telling us yesterday that because the wife's "baseline" is so much different from what they normally see they don't like to take any chances with her, but from the treatments she has been getting they do know how to handle it and she has improved.

Lindsay had an un-used "snow day" on Friday and spent it out on Mayfield Lake in her canoe. Monday she is going to Herkimer Diamond mine with a class trip. She loves that place and took the kids often when they were younger.

Hope everyone has a good day and be safe....h2l

Good Morning Everyone,
Calm and cloudy 55* start this am, might see a shower, high in the mid 60’s today.

FH4..hope the children’s play went well last evening! Good luck with the rest of the new parts.
Steve….very sad news on the high schoolers.
Jeff…nice touch with Welcome Home poster for the neighbors, bet they enjoyed that!   Hope your day goes well, some above average warm weather moving in starting tomorrow for the next week.
H2…thank you for sharing your wife’s update, so glad she has rebounded and is doing well. Keeping her in thoughts and prayers and hoping for an early discharge today!
Wally…thanks for sharing the DEC pictures and info, that’s so cool how they go about stocking the trout!

Couple errands to get out of the way this morning before heading off to ballpark. I planted a few peppers and tomatoes yesterday but held off on the rest of the plants with the high temperatures forecasted. I’ll harden the rest of them off to adjust with the high temps throughout the week. Might be close to touching 90 for a day or two… :woot:
  Cawfee’s still on…

Good morning ER's!! Foggy as heck right now!! Waiting for it to clear off and dry a little sol I can clean out my other raised bed. (I have two) I got my first one cleaned out ant 3 maters planted. Still have to put down newspaper and mulch! The one I'm going to work on today is going to be planted with bell peppers. Each raised bed looks like a bottomless watering trough. 6'LX2'WX3'D!!
