'Freak Show' bass again

after a wild night at my friend's 50th b-day party i dragged my butt over to clowntown for some fishin'.
10 min after i set up i got a flag, felt like a big rock on the end. had to slowly drag it up.
i got a glimse of a very big bass, barely hooked on the lip. it started thrashing and thru the hook. i should of given it some line..arrrghhh

stealth showed up around 10 with his jig stick and showdown..the showdown showed nothing anywhere..i drilled a few more holes and still nothing.

about 1 pm i catch a small bass and just after 2pm (after stealth left due to abject boredom) i caught a 1.11 bass.

both were white/pale green 'freak show' bass.

lost about 3" of ice while were out there..

They are kind of pale....but still nice fish, would have liked to see ya ice that big one

Sure it was disappointing not to have a more productive day but I was hoping to bag a few more bottles of Buca while we were there.  Bored..... no way.....always fun hanging out on the ice.  Time to pack the gear away.  Trap shooting tomorrow.  Nothing but dust.

Hey Lenz i got a small pond is Wmass that is a tributary of the Ct river and almost every bass i get is that light in color they are kind of weird.

I would say the color of those fish is from either really dirty colored water or low oxygen in the water. The eyes look nice and bright. Looks like you had a great season Lenz.

Funny you mention that because the minute I saw those pictures
I thought the exact same thing.
