Weekend Highlights WNY
« on: Mar 17, 2008, 05:42 PM »
23 in Brown Trout. Caught in ten feet of water witha minnow under a slip bobber.  i had an old flyreel w/o a drag 4lb test.  Awesome fighting fish.

The panfish (46 Gills, 7 Perch, 2 crappie) were found real shallow 3 fow caught with small minnows and spikes.  Caught in about 4 hours of fishing so much fun.  My Dad, Cousin Mac, and I. Bluegills were the most impressive in size with 4 over 10"

Also caught some nice bass.  This was the biggest one of the Day. Caught on a  17" Largemouth Bass

Nice mess of panfish Tim, we caught 18 crappie here in Michigan Sat morning but had to quit early because my daughter got sick.  Hope the rest of your season is great.
