Went to Verdant lake today beautiful day lots of good solid ice but we could not stir up any action at all the shrimp are thick in there already....ive watched you guys on here and read posts and stuff for a couple years now, im a hardwater addict myself thought id join ...

Yes it was a beautiful day to be on the ice. I went brookie fishing and between the wife and I caught 6 but all small. Welcome to the shanty and don't forget to sign up for this years derby.

welcome aboard finally. Thanks for joinin the most pleasure you can have leagaly..LOL. Verdant is very finicky. We have had on and off sucsess there but the best we have done was with a tiny white jig and keeping it almost dead still with the odd flick once in ahwile. Good luck.
