Hmm...funny, lots of people call them gators here too! Or slough sharks, or Jack...either way, we have pulled a couple of 60 inch + Northerns out of lakes up here.

IGFA all tackle record Northern Pike came from Germany ..... 55lbs 1 oz (25kgs)

But North Dakota is not out of the running in Big pike also......

35lbs... Tobin Lake in Mid February to Late march will produce many of those. My bet is that the largest pike will be over 50" and over 35lbs.

Not sure why. I guess it could be because they too knew that Saskatchewan was going to win it anyway.

They are in the anything category and Lonewolf divides that by species.. so you can still put em in!

Just curiouse but why is it measured from the top lip

(I had like a whole inch taken away because I see now that they need to be measured from the top lip, guess I should have read the rules better)

I also can't believe that Northern Pike are not a main Catigory by it's self $:-\$

No big deal tho as it was said before this is just for fun and I'm cool with the 40"s that "Lonewolf" put up

shoulda went with my dad last thursday because he managed to catch a 45" pike. Ah well, there is always this weekend.
