Are you fishing at a stocked trout pond? The fish seems to be missing a few bits, looks like it's spent some time in a pen. Congrats on the big bow!

Yeah its a stocky, but not a pond. Its a medium sized lake for this area. 160 acres I think.

Not as pretty as your guys fish. I wish we had those.

We have very few waters in pa where rbs naturally reproduce if any. We don't have very many big lakes like you guys have. Believe it or not theses are out of what is considered to be lakes. That fish probably spent 2.5 years in a raceway then stocked at a size of 15-18 inches. The majority of the fish put in are smaller in the 12-15 inch range. Some of the trout catch on and get nice and fat but then some don't. There is only young of the year bluegills, bass, and perch for them to eat besides invertebrates. It seems that the rbs that are 18-21 inches are the healthiest and than after that they start to get skinny and not veryvhealthy looking.

In that particular lake the browns seem to do a lot better. The Lakers are the only naturally reproducing trout and are all healthy.

I love looking at the fish you guys have up there. Are they natural.

Just a question for lone wolf aren't the fish for the tourney supposed to be fresh caught fish not frozen as that's what is stated in the rules I see a few frozen fish entered
