Made it out for a few hours this morning. Felt like I had the lake to myself, measured 13" of ice. Access is gettin' kinda sketchy...had to use a floating iceberg about the size of a sheet of plywood to get on and off. Fish were biting pretty good...caught a limit of perch,6 seeds 4 lakers and I'm guessing 10 small mouths. On a side note my new striker ice suit was plenty warm today Pretty sure today was my last day out there.(Image removed from quote.)[/URL]img]
jeez! Where were u fishing? We were in Hague yesterday afternoon lost two lakers jigging
Got a beastly fat 27" laker today, happy Easter we were the only two people on the whole lake
Anyone have a guess as to when the lake will be ice-free? Not too familiar with LG ice-out timing.
Are you sure about that, I saw a group of guys at Paulist Fathers. Today I saw 1 guy off of Cannon Point. I'm going to try it tomorrow. IW
I dunno. All I know is I didn't see anyone when we came up Bolton landing side of the lake I dunno where that is. Paulist
Last day on George for me yesterday. About 12" ice... starting to get soft and bubbly. Still didn't need a plank to get on and off. Lost almost all the white ice so any sun is going to put a real hurting on it. Probably walked a good mile total.
how'd ya do?
Drove past the lake via 87 village still had ice
Lake is just crammed with boats lately. C'mon winter. (Image removed from quote.)
I hope you have your walking shoes very fun lake to learn
