Line treatment
« on: Dec 11, 2011, 03:26 PM »
Anyone use any type of spray on line treatment on their tip-ups?  ie. reel magic or similar product.  Wondering about the effect in subzero conditions.

In subzero weather I would use a vinyl coated dacron line with 6-8" of mono. leader on tip-ups.

Hi,

Yeap!

Last 2 years, I've been using Kevin VanDam's line and lure conditioner.

Have not tried it on any of my ice fishing lines, but will now that I have 3 bottles.

Use on my lines and on my guides -> One word says it all -> ZINNNNG! ;D

Stuff is incredible!

Ya I've been using it on my open water rods and ice rods for a couple years now too.  Definitely a noticeable difference.
