your opinion on freezing rain

What do you guys think freezing rain does to say 4 inches of black ice?

I doubt if freezing rain will do much .. But rain showers and the warm temps can really do some damage (as is forecasted for NW Pa today).   Hopefully, the cold air will move in again and freeze it all up before it degrades too much.

Heading out on a few with a buddy. Supposed to be freezing rain and yesterday I was out and had about 4. Thinking we should be ok.

we're gonna be in michigan but the north end of the rain in brushing the area where we'll be.
