Woke up early this morning to go check the dogs bowl, which was outside, and it was completely frozen solid!!!!!!!!! Then thought just mabye so i went to the golf course and part of the pond has very small ice crystals across part of it i almost s%$t myself right there!!!!!!!!!!!!! It is almost there boys can't hardly wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Yeeeee Haaaaa I cannot wait for the season.

It has got to be one of the only seasons that you never know when opener is to arrive until that special day. My wife cannot wait, so I can shut up about it and fish

i am jealous. We haven't even had a heavy frost here in Northern Indiana yet. :embarassed: Send some of the cold weather down here.

Just got back from Houghton Lake. When I left yesterday it was 40 with any luck it followed me home.

You catch anything up there? The time i went there and ice fished it seemed like the dead sea. Hardly no weeds and miles of 8 ft. of water.

I did not fish this trip. I was there during Tip up and did not catch a thing. Place to go is Lake City at Lk. Missaukee (sp?)

wow i find this hard to believe being I'm 4 hours from the Canada border..

but with the weather this year anything is possible i guess..

Hard Ice..... What was the temp over there this AM, I had 41 @ about 7Am this morn, I can't believe that it's colder in Iowa then up here! Oct 10th and still no hard frost come on cold!!!
