Crappies

Hey all, just recently moved up here to the northeast kingdom was wondering if there is any crappy up this way or calico bass as that is what we called them in ct maygoog or derby pond ect thanks

Nope.

Haha.  That must be the most closely guarded fish around.  I've only caught them in the summer.  Plan on finding them this year.  Good luck getting anyone to give you a spot.  I've never even had the guts to ask.  Maybe someone out there is feeling generous.  You never know.

There have been a few rumors, but I don't think they're true.
I love fishing the NEK for cold water species, but I miss the crappies when I go up there.

Honestly I dont believe theyre up there. I could be wrong.
Great ice fishing for everything else though.
