Mudchuck, EOSDIS shows satellite photos from every day. You have to zoom in. It won't show the ice on a cloudy day, so you have to move through the dates to find a clear day.It doesn't look like the satellite has passed over us yet today. Strangely, it doesn't look like yesterday's photos from our area got posted. That's disappointing. The most recent clear view I could find is from Dec 13:https://worldview.earthdata.nasa.gov/?p=geographic&l=VIIRS_SNPP_CorrectedReflectance_TrueColor(hidden),MODIS_Aqua_CorrectedReflectance_TrueColor(hidden),MODIS_Terra_CorrectedReflectance_TrueColor,Reference_Labels(hidden),Reference_Features(hidden),Coastlines&t=2018-12-13-T00%3A00%3A00Z&z=3&v=-74.43421740943035,43.51464843750002,-72.29408069068035,45.65698242187502
Giving up the secrets! It can be a great tool when it isnt cloudy.
