Beaverton ice?????

Anyone think there will be fishable ice on Simcoe out of Beaverton by jan 26th, Lol? Have an operator booked. Wondering if the cold snap after this weekend will be enough?

i was on the ice at beaverton on wed. 1/23/13 a good eight inches and making ice all day rudefish

out sat.9-10 inches. many perch.big pressure crack west of launch.lots of huts out

So I fished out of Mitchels huts  1/23 and 1/27  slow both days good size fish, but not a lot. Maybe a bit early this year. its a good drive from Buffalo, but  Brad is a good operator. Hope to get in to deep water soon for lakers and whitie fish
