what to do when the bite slows? well yesterday my nephew got bored and started throwing snow balls and building snowmen and us adults realized we were bored as well and started goofing off also heres some pics :tipup:

this is d_balm24 and my nephew

we finally got my nephew to get the courage to hold a toothy critter

here he is again with the total catch he pulled up 2 of them and he is officially hooked on pike fishing :tipup:

When the bite slows ??? By the looks of 7 pike, that doesnt sound like a slow day to me! Shoot, 2 pike is a good day around here. But, then again we usually get bigger pike (no pun intended).

none taken ;D  it was just that by the time we got set up it was 9 then at 10 the bite was on flags everywhere we even lost about 5 and landed those 7 then 1pm hit and nothing no nibbles no panfish no perch just wind from 1-5 so this is what we did from 3-5 :tipup:

yeah my nephew loves these pics i just printed him out some so he can take them to school and show his buddies how much fun ice fishing is so we will probably have a few more youngsters out next time i just hope no one from PETA sees those pics ;)
