Awesome fish. Looks like your dialing into the lakers now..
Nicely done!
What lures are your favorite?
I just ordered in a few packs of tube jigs, 4" Berkley havoc, the pink/white ones look deadly, hopefully get to test em out soon..

I recon that yesterday was the last day for lake trout fishing. Risky when the 3 inches of snow ice is starting to turn mushy and the black ice below is 2 1/2 inches thick in some places. I want to head out to some smaller lakes where the ice is still 18 inches thick. At no time this year did any sleds go out on the lake. Not sure if Quesnell lake even froze over this year. 8 inches of fresh snow is now 3 inches what with the 7 degree temps and 30 km winds.

Today was 13 degrees in the sun around the cariboo.
The lakes are solid ice and not a whole lot of snow in some places.
Could it be an early spring?
About 14" of solid ice on the lakes around 100 mile I was on this weekend.
