ice conditions on belgrade lake?

anyone know how much ice is on belgrade lake and if it is good pike fishing? or any lakes/ponds with good fishing for pike? i have never been and figured tomorrow would be a good chance on my ride home where ther derby has been canceled.

I heard east or west lake are pretty good for pike

Messalonskee has good fishing with multiple species. If you are solely looking for pike try sabbatuus.

What are you talking about how many days straight have you tried catching a pike out of pleasantg ?

I don't know about ice conditions, but I'm sure there fine with wheeler, sled, or feet.  As for pike, pick one, pick any.  There in 'em all.  My choice would be Messalonskee or North.  If you want a guarantee hit Sabattus.

Either one of the belgrades are good. Great pond and North Pond are doing fairly well. There many access points on great pond was well as North. Just be prepared that pike fishing can be slow!!

More like Lewiston, about 15-20 mins from Augusta.

is there a boat launch or other access to it?

There's a boat launch on southern end, and access in the middle at Nasons Beach.  Sanborn Rd. access seems taboo and off limits now. And I've heard of an access point on the north end, east side off 132???  Somebody else can chime in about that, I haven't been up there in a while.

At Sabattus, pretty much put your baited hook in the water.  But the far north end produces best.

I wouldnt take a truck its really soft
