Delaware and SE PA fishin'

Hi all,
I'm new to this site and would like to start by asking a question.  We just moved to Delaware (north of Dover) after spending a couple long years overseas in the military.  Having been in South Dakota before that, I became hopelessly addicted to walleye fishing and spending those winter days in my shanty pulling anything through the ice that would bite.  So, here is the question.  What are the most productive lakes for ice fishing in the South East Penn. area?  I'm assuming Delaware lakes/ponds don't get safe ice...true/false?

I'd appreciate any help and with a camper to put on the back of the truck, I have no problem driving a few hours and making a weekend of it.

I look forward to any responses and future meetings on the water/ice.

Welcome WalleyeKiller,
I would look over the Pennsylvania Fish Commission's web site for some help on finding lakes close to you. Here is a link that should help----> http://sites.state.pa.us/PA_Exec/Fish_Boat/splashes.htm
Also check out the Pennsylvania reports board here on iceshanty. The lakes are listed with the county they are in. Here's that link----> http://www.iceshanty.com/ice_fishing/index.php?board=53.0
Hope this helps some.
