HOLY CRAP...

I think the last pic does the best justice. Just the one or how many did you catch?

We actually caught around 20 - 25 Gills, a couple Crappie, and at the end of the day marked a bunch of fish on the vexilar, which turned out to be catfish! Caught five of them too!

It was an awesome day!

Now why do you have to be like that? Is that anyway to welcome a new member to the site? I deleted my comments regarding what lures the fish were caught on. Does that make you happy?

Not sure why you're the only one posting a negative comment? Caught some nice fish and thought people might appreciate seeing them.

To be honest, I did not weigh or measure the fish. I know that might sound crazy, but I caught a 2 lb. 1 oz. Hybrid Green Sunfish in the spring in another body of water. I got that one mounted! Also don't want it to sound like I catch these big fish all the time, because I don't.

I took some quick pics and released the big fish. I keep the smaller ones to eat. It takes too long for those fish to get that big.

Now if I can just get a 2lb. Redear....I'd love to get a replica made of one. Never caught one thru the ice. I fish for them in the springtime though. Kentucky Lake has lots of big ones!

Here's a picture of my mount. The taxidermist used a lot of gloss on it, but all in all - not bad.

sick sick fish. ignore all haters. most of us appreciate the pictures, they are truly great fish and well done on the release. its all about selective harvest.

I love it...that is a great mount!

My wife has asked me to stop bringing animals to the taxidermist. She said our house is starting to look like the Buffalo Museum of Science. She however did not say anything about fish...hmmm...I think I got a loop hole here.

most ppl that post negative things are jealous cuz there out there freezin gettin nothing or there wish fishing...wishing they were gettin into em like that...just ignore the drama...wtg on those gills they are very nice
