Hi guys; New to the gang. I've fished with John T and some of his friends and that was a great time. I will be there Saturday. Even if its just meet friendly people. Haven't joined yet but planing on doing so. What should be brought on Sat? I love ice fishing more than anything. like to learn new stuff. Hope to fit in. thanks

we should be good. we can spread out on the cut and the bay . the ice is still 8" on the back of the cut and bay.

John I don't like that pic!! lets hope it freezes up. With that much open water I wouldn't want someone to get hurt. For this many people it would be a rough time getting on and off the ice.

Marsh, like John said that open water around the edges will be gone in a few days. They are drawing the lake back down to winter pool so the ice will be tight come this weekend.

And it looks like the temps are going back down somewhat. Not as low as I would like them, but this is PA, where it is either too d**n hot, or not cold enough!

i fished the cut and hunters cove and had 7-8 inches of good ice and had no problems getting on and off.

fished the cut & edge of cove today, moved around the cut some , i felt safe all day 7-8 in. good ice,no water on top and good edges.

OK I'm planning on being there I have a hotel down there so I'm coming! even if I have to use a plank! hope you are right and we don't need one though.

No water any were on the ice today.

even all the edges are good. no wet feet.

the bay is fishing very well lately

Hey just wanted to let you know that I'm not going to bring my grill now as I have read alot of other people are! I will still bring the hot dogs and hamburgers. Also I hope John T lets me use his new auger because I need room and I'm not bringing mine!
